Dover U13's (19) vs Sittingbourne U13'S (5)

Dover under 13s beat Sittingbourne 19 – 5 in the semi final to put them through to the East Kent Cup. In a very physical match Sittingbourne started with strong aggressive running and scored their only try in the first five minutes of the game. Dover were shocked into action and quickly fought back with strong rucking. The forwards gradually got closer and closer to the opposition try line, strong runs from Ciano, Ben Norris, Jarvis Otto and Rob Godden punching holes in Sittingbourne defence. Harry Yarnell made the final burst to the try line to make the scores even. Sittingbourne again pressured the Dover defence and Ryan Matthews made a try saving tackle to keep the scores level right up to the last 10 minutes of the second half. The Dover backs playing up the hill and in there 22 received quick ball form the powerful Dover scrum the ball went out to Harry Sayers who burst through the opposition backs and then passed out to Dan Eades who rocketed around Sittingbourne to score. From the kick off Dover attacked again with the scrum now dominating via a the front five of Sturman, Castle, Yarnell, Moore and Ciano. Ricketts at scrum half picked up from a ruck ball and shimmied round the blind side to score the final try.
