Dover (22) vs Deal + Betts (5)

It was a return to winning ways for the Sharks Under 13’s Rugby team, with a 22 – 5 victory over Deal & Betteshanger. A better attacking and defensive display was evident all game – the boys heads were up again after their disappointment at the Kent Festival. The first try was after 5 minutes scored by T Oakman his first in competition, (assisted by H Sayers); H Yarnell converted. A further try was scored by Caino, making it 12 – 0 at half time. In the second half, B Ebden got a try back for Deal. Dover then took control when J Otto drove over to score, (following a strong attacking surge by Caino). In the final minutes D Eades ran in a fine individual try. It was a good performance and the score could have been more – particularly as Jarvis saw a conversion kick bounce back off the posts. Well done and keep it up.
