The boys had two games this week. The Canterbury A team played a strong Dover 15 in a hard fought game with some good defending and forward play for the Sharks. Canterbury showed excellent handling skills in their back line with final score 15-5 to the visitors. The Dover try was scored by H Sayers.
Following a half-time break the second string Canterbury squad came on to face a Sharks team with approx 7 changes. It was a far more one sided affair with the Dover boys winning 20 – 0 with tries scored by Caino (2), J Rickets and C Smith. The boys seemed to work better as a unit in this game.
So a satisfactory day for the Dover boys winning the day 25-15; with stand out displays by H Sayers, J Otto, Caino, Callum and D Westbrook.
