The welfare of children is, and must always be, our first priority. Everyone at the club — coaches, volunteers, parents, carers, players, officials and spectators — has a responsibility to help keep children safe and to raise any concerns where they arise.
Dover RFC follows RFU safeguarding policies, procedures and best practice guidance. We expect all coaches, team managers and volunteers working with children to follow appropriate safeguarding standards, including safer recruitment, DBS checks where required, suitable supervision, appropriate communication, and clear boundaries with children and young people.
If you have any concerns about the welfare, safety or wellbeing of a child at Dover RFC, please contact our Club Safeguarding Officer or Deputy Safeguarding Officer. All concerns will be treated seriously, sensitively and appropriately.
