Dover under 9's played their best rugby of the year in sporting and enjoyable fixtures against teams from Folkestone and the British School of Brussels. After a skills coaching session, Dover played their first game against a spirited Folkestone side. Harry Bowman passed well to allow James Billing to score and Luke Russel pounced on lose ball to add a second try following a period of excellent tackling by both sides. A feature of this close game was the excellent mauling showed by both teams with Simon Jones, Liam Hodgson and Charlie Fox leading the way. In the second game against Folkstone, Dover recovered from an early try to score through Liam Hodgson. Both teams played with high intensity with Robert Keens and James Sparnon making some telling tackles. In the final game against the touring side, Dover gained a creditable draw. Luke Burn and James Billing scored fine tries with Luis Corbo and Dylan King contributing well in attack.
